Open Air Internet is a fixed wireless service available in areas of Fort Bragg. It is an internet only connection and requires no phone line.

Open Air Internet offers downloads speeds of up to 50 Mb/s and up to 100 Mb/s

Download speeds are only half the equation. Cloud backups and video calls makes the upload speed an important factor. Open Air Internet has upload speeds of up to 10 Mb/s and up to 20 Mb/s. Thats 10 and 20 times faster than Fusion uploads!

How fast is Open Air?

To stream Standard definition (SD) you need 3 Mb/s.
To stream High definition (HD) you need at least 5 Mb/s.
To stream 4K/Ultra HD you need at least 25 Mb/s.
With Open Air Internet you can still be on a video call while multiple people watch HD streams.

For cloud backups or streaming video a higher upload speed really makes a difference!

Open Air Extender

If you have a large house or the router is not centrally located MCN will run a second ethernet cable from the radio to a second router location. This second router will provide additional signal through your entire house. Open Air Extender is available for $10/Month and a one time install fee of $50.

What is the installation process?

Installation
MCN technicians install the radio and connects it to a new router in the house. (Three Hours)
